What do I need to plug in LED UV Aquarium Lighting into the wall?
I bought LED light for my aquarium, but it didn't come with something to plug into the wall. It just has a black and red wire. Any Ideas what I need to buy to set it up?
You need a DC transformer to step down the voltage to 4.5VDC
Or, a battery pack that used 3 batteries at 1.5vDC each

Where can I get a navigation system for a 2001 C320 Mercedes Benz? It is fiber optic can I put in aftermarket?
I was wold I cant put in an after market stereo in my car. Why is this? I was told it has fiber optic cables.. What can I do to fix this or where can I turn to get an after market stereo dvd/navigation system put in?
The signal wires (audio) from the head unit to the amplifier in the rear of the vehicle are fiber optic. What this means, is an add-on system won't feed audio through your speakers.
You have two options:
Install a separate speaker for the nav system and keep your stereo volume low while using it - or - replace your head unit and amplifier.
The reason (if it matters to you at all):
Normally, an add-on nav system will either override input from the head unit and play through the factory speakers (rare) or (more common) trigger the mute wire on the factory head unit. With a fiber optic system, signals are digital (as opposed to the analog signals in an aftermarket system), and you can't interface.
Find a high-end shop. Car stereo installers are like any other tradesmen, they get much better with experience. The shops that will have the most experience with Mercedes will be high-end shops.

What chemicals in untreated water makes 304 type stainlees steel to become porose and water to leak?
304 type stainless steel reacts with some chemicals in untreated water and the container begins to leak. This is very common in solar water heater storage tanks.
What you are really asking, is what chemicals in water can corrode Chromium and Vanadium, since that is what makes stainless steels 'stainless'.
Basically, anything that will form free radicals can react with these metals. Common culprits include Chlorides, Flourides, and the like, but also such things as (bi)carbonates and nitrates can form weak acids that can attack Cr and Va.

Landscape Outdoor
looking for inexpensive landscaping ideas that i can have at my camper/rv (earthy - style preferred)?
i am trying to find some good ideas of making a patio area that will be right next to my small camper. the length would be about 20 feet, and it will be facing a tree line.
my main interest is to have some flat surface area and i want to keep the style very organic. i considered a deck, but after pricing that it was just too expensive. so i guess the alternatives would be patio pavers or stones.
any ideas or good sites for the thrifty outdoor landscaping ideas?
Go to a menards or home depot, they have hard plastic stepping stones that look very natural and are very cost effective. they sit either on the ground or you can sink them in to flush, they have different styles and colors and sizes. oh and there are the sqare brick or the semi roulnd stones.

Both of these women are famous actresses. The other member of this group was Marina Kanter, who is not very famous. This is from a movie that has some impressive philosophical statements written by Nancy Dowd of "Slap Shot" fame.

How much do High Street Shops Mark up Lights & Lamps?
I make marble lamps & want to get them into good shops. I need to know how much the shops will mark them up by and do they but them first or are they sale or return?
Most retailers mark-up 40 to 50%. Furniture and jewelry are 100 to 200%.

Yard Landscape
How can I restore my yard to its natural landscape?
I live in NW Indiana in an area that used to be all sand--the woods near my home are mostly dunes. I'm sick of my lawn (an acre worth of it!) and would like to return to the natural landscape of sand, prairie grass, etc. Any ideas on how I go about doing this?
That would be an awesome lawn.
There is a book called The Wild Lawn handbook that can help. But keep in mind, prairie is shaped by fire and bison. The Wild Lawn book recommends getting a permit and burning your yard once a year.
The Eastern, rainier parts of the Great Plains were prairie because the native americans burned the land regularly to feed bison.
The forests you describe are as natural to the place as the prairie. You could restore a neater version of that with native trees and bushes that provide fruit for you and the birds.
As far as the prairie garden part, a garden tiller would be a more feasible substitute for fire to clear the land. Instead of perennials with roots that survive the fire, you could plant an annual wildflower mix that would attract birds and butterflies.
