Light Kit

I need to know how to install a remote on a ceiling fan with a light kit?
It's a Hampton bay and has 3 wires on one side and two wires on the other side. On the side with 3 wires, one is for the light, motor N and motor L. The other side has 2 wires, one white and one black.
If you have to ask this question you need an Electrician!

Led Yard

My horse fell over sideways for no apparant reason. Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen?
He stopped dead whilst being led across the field and keeled over sideways. He stayed down for a few minutes then got up and walked in. By the time I got there 10 minutes later he was fine. The vet came but found nothing obviously wrong. Aparantly a couple of months ago his legs seemed to go wobbley for a few minutes whilst being led across the yard, but he didnt actually go down. ANy ideas??
I do think that You need some more tests done by the vet, this could happen again whilst you are riding him on the road. That would be really scary.

Light Your

How long can you drive your car once the gas light comes on and it reads empty?
I have heard that once your gas light comes on and your car reads empty that you have at least another 20 miles in the reserve before your car gives out. Is this true?
Depending on make/model of car, 20 miles would be normal if not on the low side - take a can of petrol with you and drive till it stops, then you will know. The only risk is you might suck up any muck in the bottom of the petrol tank - could block carbies/jets etc...

Landscape Lighting

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced solar powered landscape lighting that DOES NOT use batteries?
I've heard of lights that use capacitors but have only found them in paver type applications. I am looking for traditional "stake" lighting.
no, thats how solar works you use the sun to charge batt, then use the power at night, I have a set of 12 that i got thru Harbor freight 3 yrs ago there still working,
they were around $20

Butterfly Solar

In your opinion, what will be the cause of the Apocalypse?
We all know the world is going to end someday. When do you think this will occur? Do you think it will be 2012? Also, what do you think will be the cause of the world to end?
Human
* Flu Pandemic
* Nuclear War / WW3 / Biological War
* Large Hadron Collider
* Nanotechnology
* Religious Apocalypse
* Nuclear Accident
* Rise of the Machines
* Genetic Modification
* Time Travel Error
From Space
* Nearby Supernova
* Explosion from the black hole at the center of our galaxy - read about how something similar could have caused the recent tsunami
* Gamma Ray Burst (GRB)
* Asteroid/Meteor/Comet
* Coronal Mass Ejection (CRE) from our Sun
* Cosmic Rays
* Solar System Falls Apart (butterfly effect)
* Alien Invasion
From Earth
* Magnetic Pole Shift
* Crustal Pole Shift
* Supervolcano - ie Yellowstone
* Ice Age
* Global Warming
-Flu Pandemic - Real possibility.
-WW3 - In my opinion, this is the way we'll die<<<<<<
-LHC - I'm guessing you're talking about the "blackhole scare". Not likely. Blackholes take a LOT of energy to create. More then we have in Sweden.
-Nanotechnology - Also not likely. Humans will probably be extinct before nanotechnology is a threat.
-Religious Apocolypse - Out of the question.
-Nuclear Accident - The chances of all the nukes and nuclear reactors in the world going haywire at the same time are slim-to-none.
-Rise of Machines - Give me a break...
-Genetic Modification - Are we talking about mutants or something?? Genetic Modification has done nothing but been beneficial since it was first "tested"
-Time Travel Error- No. The farthest that humans have ever "travelled through time" is only a few seconds. And that wasn't even time travelling
-Supernova - Unlikely. The nearest star to us, other than the Sun, isn't going supernova for a loooong time.
-Blackhole Explosion - Woah! First I've heard this one before! Still ridiculous
-Asteroid - Definitely a danger
-CRE - It would have to be HUGE.
-Cosmic Rays - Maybe if our O-Zone vanished...
-Butterfly Affect - Not in our lifetime
-Alien Invasion - It's possible. It might even be happening right now!
-Pole Shift - The poles have shifted many times in Earth's history. This is not going to wipe us out.
-Supervolcano - This may have been an incredible danger millions of years ago, but with todays technology, we would be able to last through something like this.
-Ice Age - Same as above
-Global Warming - In my opinion, GW has been blown way out of proportion. So no.

Landscape Dome

Please last -minute help in french please?
I am very deseperate for your help and please help me!!!
Can you translate this paragraph into french please!!!!!!
Hello! How are you all? I missing you lots, but I’m having a fabulous time in Paris. What are you up to? I have to be quick because I am off to Dôme des Invalides and lots of packing to do. On Monday I went to Notre dame cathedral, it was very good. On Tuesday I went to Disneyland Paris, it was fabulous. I went on lots of roller coasters, it was great fun. On Wednesday I went to the Versailles palace. On Thursday I went to the Eiffel tower and all the way to the top. It was scary however I took lots of landscape photos and videoed the whole of Paris, which I will show you when I get home. On Friday I went to visit the L'Arc de Triomphe. It was wonderful, the on the arch was beautiful. On Saturday I went to the Musée du Louvre with my family and we all found it boring because we do not like history that much.
stupid online translators, as usual !!

Outdoor Solar

I want outdoor solar lighting that's actually white, not bluish, in color. Does it exist?
If possible, please provide brand(s). Thanks!
By the time you find them and realize the extra expense you can find some Low voltage ones that will give a better quality of light in both quantity (more light out-put) and quality (better color). Halogen bulbs produce the best kind of light, It's a whiter light than xenon or incandescent. Many of the landscape light fixtures (low Voltage) use halogen bulbs. Find a price range and take the time to do it right or spend your money on the cheap solar and after they break then buy the better kind. The most common thing I see is people will buy a low voltage system after they realize the solar ones don't work, it's a waist of money in my eyes.
